The “Camargues”
Camargue horses near the Vaccarès pond. The Camargue is a breed of small, hardy, white-coated saddle horses that originated in the region of the same name in the south of France, near the Rhône delta. They traditionally live free in their native marshes, and are one of the oldest breeds in the world.
