Marc GUYOT lives and paints in Marsillargues.

It is a privilege for an artist to be born and create in CAMARGUE, land of the South, of passions and traditions.

Horses, bulls, festive environment are all sources of inspiration. Unlike painters coming from the North to grapple with the Mediterranean light, Marc GUYOT keeps for himself, deeply buried under his brush, the outside sun, the metallic heat of summer. He possesses this light like a birthmark, it warms him and irradiates his canvases. An excellent draftsman, he perfectly translates the energy of movement; a talented colorist, he plays with the infinite shades of a skillful palette, delivering to us, to our greatest delight, his own message of emotions through a powerful and luminous stroke.
